Student Art: Dragon Boy

Our second year Level 3 students have created some great artwork as part of an ongoing creative, industry brief.

“We aim to develop our students in a variety of ways. Our students are given opportunities to work on industry briefs from well known animation studios which are inspiring and challenging.”

The character featured in this Blog post is Dragon Boy, this is one of the many interesting concepts from the talented student Edmund Marshall. Edmund is currently studying in his final year of the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production. He has a fantastic imagination and a great eye for character style and proportion.

Further Development:

The brief that he is currently working on has instructed him to produce an original character that is funny, has a good stage presence and is heroic in its nature. Additionally, he has been asked to produce a short animation to bring his creation to life. A second blog post will feature the finish character in a short animation and a mini interview of its creator Edmund Marshall who will be discussing his learning experience on the course.
