Alien Dance-off Nov 2021

In this first term, our students have learned a variety of creative media production theory, methods, techniques and practical skills related to specific media specialisms such as image manipulation, illustration, 3D modelling, texturing and animation in mini-production projects. Upon entering our course, a large portion of our learners have no or a very limited knowledge of 3D Character animation production. by the end of the UFO & Alien mini-production project our students have a practical awareness of the processes, methods and techniques related to 3D character animation production. A compilation video of their alien characters animations has been produced to celebrate the work they had done.

Tutor Comments: "This is a project, I like a lot, as it presents our learners with a great opportunity to plan, design and create a character with very little constraints because its an Alien. Thus, giving them full artistic licence of its shape and form. It’s a pleasure to review the variety of alien forms our learners produced in my technical skills lessons. We have had a lot of fun throughout this project and this video sums it all up in a few seconds"
